@themak1985 I'm not quite sure how to resolve this, but thanks for the report. It's good to know about plugins which might not be compatible. If this issue gets popular when I've released the theme into the wild, I'll spend some time on compatibility.
Hey there @christianwach - now that wordpress updated its Admin Color Schemer and released a new set of Admin Color Schemes, it would be great if a) CiviCRM Admin Utilities would pick up these new schemes (i think the biggest issue is menu right now, but other attributes like button colors do not transfer to civicrm, but background color does work) or b) can we override the menu color choice to match our scheme in civicrm display preferences. Right now it just defaults to black and will not change to any color I choose. If this functionality already exists, what setting do I have incorrect?
I have been experimenting with the new schemer, check out some screenshots for example.

@themak1985 It doesn't and you haven't.
If you really want this compatibility to happen, there are a couple of options... I probably don't need to spell them out :-)
I just realized, you manually added stylesheets for all the admin color themes. for some reason I thought it was just inheriting the style and color choices. I tried to manually add a new lines of CSS for the custom style sheet, but that did not work for some reason, I will have to investigate further. Thanks!

@themak1985 Ha, I wish! :-)
First off - WP-Style Branch is simply amazing. Gives wordpress users a much nicer experience for CiviCRM - especially since Shoreditch is unlikely to make its move to Wordpress anytime soon.
After discovering this branch - I was excited to see it was compatible with Admin Color Schemes - but I noticed that it only seems to work with the built in ones - not the custom ones - such as via https://github.com/helen/admin-color-schemer/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/admin-color-schemes/
Most likely its those plugins that are causing the issue - but thought I would share.
