Binscatter of births each month for all winning towns

A pretty clear trend reversal. Main caveat is that this is total births, so very large towns have a big impact. Will be more interesting to look at births per capita or log births.

Also note that these averages do not include zeros.

Red line is 9 months post lottery win.

Not much of a change in mean mom age, maybe slight trend shift

there is a big jump in age right around lottery win, which is weird

Pronounced drop in number of siblings after lottery win

To me this suggests more new parents.

Coincides perfectly with 9 months. Beautiful :')
