For us, how will our story routes be branched out and structured?
A definite storyline is not required to complete this task (although it may help tremendously) but we should have a discussion about how the story is going to be structured and how the story routes will be branched.
Questions:
How will the story be organized (Chapters? Months?)
How will the story routes be branched? (Have a specific point in the timeline where the stories branch out? Or have the branch come off in different points of the story?)
How will the routes be broken down? (Just have a route or will it be broken to sub-routes?)
What parameters will determine which route the story will follow? (Choices, Character Parameters + Affinities)
We should be able to come up with a small tree graph to show how the plots are structured. Not a graph of the complete story, but a sample that captures the idea of how it will work.
