SourceList enhancements

Here are two enhancements ideas for source list:
1. Attach actions to a source list item  -- e.g. in iTunes you can eject your 
iPod by clicking an eject 
icon.  Also in iTunes and the finder a source list can show activity with an 
icon -- e.g. in iTunes the 
Downloads source list item both the badge of the number of items being 
downloaded and the 
chasing arrows, and in Finder a Time machine volume will show the chasing 
arrows during backups.
2. Source list-items should be able to have sub-list-items -- e.g. in iTunes 
the iPod device source 
list item has items of it's own.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Re. Item 1: I had planned on adding a more robust badging mechanism, so this 
can serve as the enhancement 
request for that.

Re. Item 2: You can add child SourceListItems to SourceListItems. Let me know 
if your having an issue with this.

The methods to add child source list items are not public ... the API can not 
be called

Right...everything should go through the model API in order to ensure that 
events are fired.

I think it would be awesome if we could insert another icon on the right side 
of the
SourceListItem, I know if we could attach a listener to it also would be even 
better,
so we could use to make actions like the example above about disconnecting an 
IPOD
from ITUNES, but only the icon at first, it would be sooo cool. I attached one 
example...
