Translation into Thai #223

Open srakrn opened 3 years ago

srakrn commented 3 years ago

Hello! I am interested in translating the book into Thai language.

To my best knowledge, the way that the project were structured makes it difficult to combine my future translation into the same repo. Are there any suggestions on how should the translation be carried?

Thank you in advance!

Hello!

It would be really great to have a Thai translation. You can find translations for other languages here: https://christophm.github.io/interpretable-ml-book/translations.html I recommend that you open a separate repository. I can then link to your translation in my book.

Sorry for a very slow update. I will have some spare time to translate the book soon.

The repo is here: https://github.com/srakrn/interpretable-ml-book-th/tree/th-translation-dev. The set-ups of build pipelines is still not done, so might ping you here if I have any questions on it.

Thank you in advance!

Thanks a lot for doing this!

If you want I can already add your translation to the list: https://christophm.github.io/interpretable-ml-book/translations.html And I would add that it is in progress.

Let me know if you want it already added.

Sure, will send you the PR to add the translated version when I believe we have reached an adequate level of contents.

By the way, there are some clarifications regarding the translated version that I would be glad if you could help:

Again, thank you so much. :D

Of, course, you may add a translators note to your translation.

I guess the masculine pronoun makes sense for this case.

Thanks a lot!
