Unpleasant quirk when restoring previous geomtry #553

gnome-mplayer remembers window position and size well, but when the window is
restored -after launching the app or by clicking the systray icon- a noticeable
effect occur: the window is first displayed at another position/size
(presumably the one chosen by the wm) and a fraction of second later the
intended geometry is finally restored. This artifact looks bad.

What version are you using? With the current code and gnome-shell I do not see
this issue.

Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to fix this. If I move the show
window code after the movement code, the window is redrawn incorrectly. This is
due to how the widgets are aligned off of each other.
