Fix tests #5

In the fork, the tests were not really compatible with the source in TS.

Hello, i’m one of the old maintainer developer of this lib. I’m glad you like it and want to keep it alive. I’ll take this issue and try to fix the tests.

I have the time to put into helping maintain this library if people want to use it.

@christopher-caldwell we have the tests running again, but we must review each test file one by one. What about creating an check list for each test that must be reviewed? maybe we can create a PT for each one.

Sure, yeah. We can create a milestone to get all of them done, and link as many issues as we need. Great idea!
