updated metadata handling for metalsmith 1.0.1 #1

Dear christophercliff,

Thanks for this awesome plugin. I need it to work with metalsmith 1.0.1. I updated dependencies, metadata handling and the unit test to work . The metalsmith.data property disappeared and because of that an error is thrown.
