It'd be nice to have keep: true|false here too.

I'd be open to that, but there's been some discussion on this already in https://github.com/christophercliff/metalsmith-fingerprint/issues/5 and I don't think @christophercliff is looking to add this to metalsmith-fingerprint. But I wouldn't mind it. Once merged I could deprecate mine and redirect here.

So, what's going on with this feature? Why isn't it added to the original module? Are there some drawbacks?
