What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter un/pw
2. Click Sing In
3. Displays "You need an internet connection to use this gadget"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to log in. This worked up to yesterday.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.0.0, Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
My un/pw is correct, and I definitely have a network connection (i.e. I'm
writing this on the same machine.)

Note that this is happening for both the Calendar and Gmail gadgets, as well as
Gmail Notifier for Windows. When trying to log into the Gmail gadget, it
shows "Oops... network/server error, please try again later."

Third-party Gmail-checking apps, like the Gmail Checker gadget by Maxim
Alexeyev are
working fine.

Update: Rebooting fixes it, but coming out of hibernation breaks it again. I
reboot
rarely and hibernate frequently, so this is debilitating as far as the controls
go.
