Sports calendars don't show up under Other Calendars

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Subscribe to a Sports Calendar (in Cal, Settings > Calendars > 
Interesting Calendars > Sports tab > etc)
2. Reload the gadget
3. In the gadget, Options > Edit visible calendars

Should see the newly added Sports calendars under Other Calendars, but 
they're not there.  I've added other public calendars (eg, Canadian 
Holidays) which do show up in the gadget.

I'm using the GMail Labs version of the gadget on Windows XP, using the dev 
build of Google Chrome.

This issue is not specific to the iGoogle Calendar gadget.  It also affects:

Android OS 2.0 device:
(after subscribing from the Google Calendar page)
1. Open Calendar app on phone
2. Press Menu button.
3. Press More
4. Press My Calendars
5. Sports calendar does not show up in the list

iCal on Mac OSX:
(after subscribing from Google Calendar page)
1. Open iCal
2. Sports calendar does not show up in the list on the left side.  I even tried
unlinking the Google account and re-adding it, no change.  I also tried manually
syncing using Synctrospector with no different results.

I apologize if this is considered "+1 me too" e-mail, I just wanted to point 
out that
it appears to affect any app that tries to pull from the Google Calendar, not 
just
the iGoogle Gadget (which I'm also having trouble with).  I have no issue with 
other
user's shared calendars or the U.S. Holidays Calendar....

My current workaround is to bookmark the calendar HTML link found in calendar
settings. Example:

http://www.google.com/calendar/htmlembed?src=mlb_25_%2553an%2B%2544iego%2B%2550a
dres%23sports%40group.v.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/Los_Angeles

It appears to work for mine (Texas A&M Basketball calendar) and has been a for 
some time now.
