Gave up on directly processing pdf given how hard it is to tell where days end when we can only see text. The new menu script requires first converting a pdf file to html (e.g. with google docs) but general processing is still slightly better than the old one in terms of allowing one to spot problems more easily, and not needing to get rid of sides/desserts stuff manually.
