Checked in / Checked out text should be replaced with an image signifying the same status. Perhaps a green check mark for checked in, and a red x for checked out.
The only reason to continue supporting a checked out status ( this is going away, as having checked out status visible is unnecessary ) is to allow for a ~15 minute to an hour period where checkouts show up.
The timestamp for checked in needs to be formatted in a better way. Perhaps just "7:30 PM" style if it is on the same day as today. There aren't many times where a barista will be checked in beyond the scope of a single day, unless they have made a mistake. Perhaps a notification feature should be implemented when a barista is checked in longer than a certain amount of time, or a new day begins.
Baristas should need to click fewer times in order to check in. Currently they need to sign in, click the baristas tab, and click check in. The company they last checked in at does show up at the top of the list, but perhaps this could be a navbar option. Either in the top or bottom navbar, an option to check in to the last company they checked in at ( It is assumed that a barista works at the company they last checked in at ).
