Hi @giacfalk,
Please post the output from sessioninfo()
I receive a 'Error in sessioninfo() : could not find function "sessioninfo"'
. Note that I have installed and loaded the following packages:
install.packages("Rnightlights”)
install.packages("lubridate")
install.packages("reshape2")
install.packages("ggplot2")
install.packages("plotly")
library(Rnightlights)
library(lubridate)
library(reshape2)
Sorry about that. I mistyped. It should be sessionInfo()
capital I.
The packages should have installed okay but sometimes an out-of-date package or a partially installed/corrupt package can cause problems.
Also try re-running install.packages("Rnightlights")
which should ideally install all the other packages automatically. You shouldn't need to install the other packages separately.
Finally, there is a bug that I have fixed with using the admLevel="highest"
. You can check out the updated package by installing from github before it appears on CRAN by running:
install.packages("devtools")
devtools::install_github("chrisvwn/Rnightlights")
Thanks, anyway, I keep getting the same error. Here is my sessionInfo() output:

I have just solved typing Sys.setlocale("LC_TIME", "English"). Apparently, LC_TIME being set to Italian_Italy.1252 was causing the issue!
Great! I am glad you found a solution for this! Will come in handy for anyone else who encounters this issue. Thanks for posting your solution.
Hello everyone, i have zero coding experience. i have tried to break down the following call buti cant seem to pin point the issue causing the error:
epinow_res <- epinow( reported_cases = cases, generation_time = generation_time, delays = delay_opts(incubation_period), return_output = TRUE, verbose = TRUE, horizon = 21, stan = stan_opts(samples = 750, chains = 4) )
The error am getting is:
Logging threshold set at INFO for the EpiNow2 logger Writing EpiNow2 logs to the console and: C:\Users\HPLAPT~1\AppData\Local\Temp\RtmpA7ocdD/regional-epinow/2015-04-30.log Logging threshold set at INFO for the EpiNow2.epinow logger Writing EpiNow2.epinow logs to the console and: C:\Users\HPLAPT~1\AppData\Local\Temp\RtmpA7ocdD/epinow/2015-04-30.log Error in seq.int(0, to0 - from, by) : 'to' must be a finite number
Kindly assist.

Hi @rhamoonga ,
This seems to be related to the EpiNow2 package. You can try to ask for assistance on their github page: https://github.com/epiforecasts/EpiNow2/issues
Thank you @chrisvwn , i will revert with feedback
When I run the following (found in the Wiki)
I get the following error message
Error in seq.int(0, to0 - from, by) : 'to' must be a finite number
