Doesn't work on www.etrade.com #33

Clicking bookmarklet does nothing on https://www.etrade.com. Works on https://us.etrade.com/e/t/user/login

I can't replicate this in Chrome. Further, when I got to https://www.etrade.com I am redirected to https://us.etrade.com/home

What browser are you using and what is the exact URL of the page it fails on?

victropolis commented 10 years ago

Sorry, clicking on the SGP bookmarklet on Chrome while on the https://us.etrade.com/home site, does nothing for me.

scottchiefbaker commented 10 years ago

I just tested that site with Firefox and SGP works fine.

Are you seeing what I'm seeing in Chrome?

chriszarate commented 10 years ago

Can you open the console before you run SGP and report what it says after you run SGP? You can open the console with CTRL+ Shift+J on Windows or Command+Shift+J on a Mac.

I'm a dev, so no need to explain. I'll check the console later this weekend

When I click on the SGP bookmarklet, I see three requests in the network tab. One for mobile.html with a response code of 200. And two request for png images...the gear icon and the other icon. The two icons have a status of (data), whatever that means. So, it appears the requests are being fulfilled, but the SGP window doesn't display.

I still can't replicate this in Chrome (latest version). I have various profiles with different security settings and it works in all of them. Further, SGP only loads one icon (the gear icon). It uses a Data URI to embed the icon in the page, so that's why you're seeing "data" in the Network panel.

To confirm, you are using the latest bookmarklet (found at http://www.supergenpass.com), correct? And no errors are reported in the Console panel? You should see a few Application Cache events.

You could try typing $('iframe') in the Console to see if SGP was appended to the DOM and report the results here.

I'll try again tonight and get back to you. Thanks!
