Hue Sync Box support #45

Any chance this supports or is planning to support the hue sync box / ambilight setup?

That's literally the only thing keeping the Hue hub in my house right now and I'd love to ditch it.

I'm not sure if these devices use non-standard zigbee communication? That's the case for entertainment zones, for examples.

If it's relatively standard, we might get them to work.

The biggest obstacle, is that.. I don't have any of those devices :stuck_out_tongue:

So unless someone wants to help implement it, or want to send some of this equipment, I'm afraid I can't really help :disappointed:

I have the HueSync Box 8K and couple gradient light. I am up for testing if this can help increase the support of the project !

I'm down to also do some testing and if I find next end of month I have some money I can surely donate to the cause.

in other pieces of trivia I picked up along the way, from what others say the whole "entertainment" implementation philips did is non-standard, meaning they use special commands to quickly shift / stream colors with minimal lag, I will look for reference materials to share
