Mechanics comments on trash mobs

Mechanics on the trash seem to work for the most part. We didn't check them one by one, but they all seemed to be casting their abilities.

Considering that if you wipe on the boss, you have to redo all the trash pulls again to retry, which can take around 20 minutes a try, the amount of health these packs have could be reduced to make them less tedious thus reducing the DPS checks needed to clear the waves. This is especially true for the summoned adds from the Necromancers, do they really need to have 3 times the amount of health when they cast these summons repeatedly?

The boss seems to be doing the mechanics correctly.

While manageable, this boss has also the reaction times from mechanics being reduces as a side effect of the increased damage values.

The boss seems to be doing the mechanics correctly.

The main problem with this fight at the moment is the Malevolent Cleave that is hitting for 12k followed by normal 5k swings, meaning a BiS tank will be receiving damage spike of about 90% their health.

Regarding the amount of health, it seems doable with a good execution of mechanics.

This fight seemed to be doable with a very good execution of the mechanics.

Getting fear while in the air is problematic as people die without a way to successfully do the raid mechanics

The fire damage from Doomfire is doing way more damage than 2400 every 3 seconds and more with something like 3000DPS which is problematic to heal as multiple people can be burning at the same time. Clearing this boss will require a perfect execution if at all doable.

Overall comments on raid mechanics

All bosses seem within the realm of possibility except for Archimonde which seems pretty difficult with the current state of Doomfire which breaks the fight unless people avoid its damage the whole fight which is unrealistic meaning this raid might not be clearable on release.

Overall comments on tuning

The amount of abilities doing too much damage due to how the global tuning scaling is making the encounters feel spiky and unforgiving and its showing more and more as we move into more complex raid fights.

Hopefully some of most affected abilities can be overridden to make some of the fights less frustrating.

For Kaz'rogal Cleave , i don't think it needs any "nerf" btw as for this boss , you are suppose to have 2 tanks at least on the front to share the damage from that Cleave , this boss cleave is shareable between everyone in front of the boss (i believe shareable only with players)

Azgalor Cleave is not shareable so that one might cause a problem if the damage is too high

I never asked for a nerf, I am just stating facts coming from spending hours testing this stuff. As it stands is doable, I am just giving feedback as this is what this report is supposed to be for.

The Base damage is way lower, why do mechanics need have inflated values? This is why the balance is all over the place... Why does this ability needs to do 50% more damage than it would normally do?

It's damage is not too high and can be handled.

I think those numbers are wrong specially when it says all melees , this cleave is meant to one shot melees , without Tunning yes it will probably deal around 8k to BIS tanks which will make the boss solo tanked with the default settings but this boss was meant to be duo tanked and even sometimes they used 3 tanks to share the damage which is what the tuning is suppose to be in my opinion as it gives the raid some kind of difficulty so people wouldn't ignore the normal strategy.
