Eclipse History View: com.vectrace.MercurialEclipse.history.GraphLogTableViewer cannot be cast to org.eclipse.ui.part.PageBookView$SelectionProvider #30

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use Eclipse 4.2.0.v20111209-2100
2. install MercurialEclipse 2.0.0.201112111733 from
http://mercurialeclipse.eclipselabs.org.codespot.com/hg.wiki/update_site/snapsho
ts
3. create/connect a workspace resource to an Hg repository
4. activate the History View for any tracked resource with historical changes

What is the expected output?
The History View, with no errors or unchecked exceptions.

What do you see instead?
The History View displays intermittently/incompletely, but it always throws an
exception (probably related to a change in the Eclipse API implementation).
The unchecked exception dialog appears.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MercurialEclipse 2.0.0.201112111733
Eclipse 4.2.0.v20111209-2100
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Please provide any additional information below.

Stack traces and Eclipse configuration attached.

Come on, as already said,, this issue is fixed. You do not need to report it so
many times, just wait for the next snapshot.

I apologize for cross-posting this issue - before you explained that the fix
was completed after the snapshot I'm using, I thought that maybe there were two
forks of this project and that I was not using the one hosted on javaforge.
So, I posted here in case the project on javaforge was not the one I was using.
I didn't mean to bother you - it was confusing for me that there are two sites
for the project. Sorry for the trouble.

Just because you are so confused, below is my private build - just put it to
the eclipse/dropins directory.
