IndexDb Sample is out of date #899

Since the IndexDb sample is out of date (among other things, getversion() is no 
longer used), is there an update?
Also your sample is very confusing.
Why is the javascript not in it's own file, than the HTML will just call the 
functions, instead of making Italian food (Spaghetti code).
