Does this prototype demonstrate a Soviet Space Program aesthetic? If so, what makes the aesthetic? If not, how can this aesthetic be achieved? Yes - the images are mainly what give it this aesthetic. I can’t think of any concrete examples myself but I think it would be worth exploring/adding more components to the prototype to intensify the desired aesthetic. Perhaps modifying the colour scheme or adding some textual elements?

What is the overall feeling you have when viewing the world? The space feels open, calm, and inviting. Who doesn’t love to fly around in space!

Do the player controls immerse you in the game? The environment does feel immersive however I think having a first-person controller could make it feel more engaging. If the player could, for example, switch between first and third person controls using a button or key to choose their perspective. I’m not sure whether this was intentional but when you release the W or S key, there is a slight drawback that occurs (could be the camera controls?) and it makes the movement feel less natural.

What do you want to do most in this open world? My first instinct was to navigate towards the planets and then to the images. It’s oddly satisfying to collide with them and watch them float off!
