Twitter authentication problem.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

i want to be able to use firestatus to update twits.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

I just downloaded firestatus but was unable to authentication twitter. see the 
screenshoot below:

I have the same problem. Since when twitter updated its API I can't publish 
tweets with Firestatus, even though I was already logged in (I have been using 
this extension for quite a long time). Every time I write a tweet and then 
press enter the exact same error dialogue jhambu reported shows up. I literally 
can't use firestatus for its main purpose for me, which was tweeting.

It looks like Twitter and Facebook fails Authentication for the posting status. 
It would great to have it fixed. It's been broken for some time.

I thought it maybe my set up so I uninstalled Firefox then reinstalled Firefox 
and installed Firestatus and same problem. 

- Windows 8, Firefox 23.0.1
