20 photo album still times out #446

On version 3.7, using an album with exactly 20 images and it still times out after 12 hours. Was previously using a different folder with more than 20 images, is there some way to clear cache or something to stop the time out? Or even better a paid version with no timeouts?

The time out was almost as annoying as the title text. I would buy (not subscribe) willingly if these two things could be FIXED but the author will refuse to make this usable as a screensaver.

No need to be like that. This is a free app, if you don’t like it, find another one or write your own.

I’m 90% sure the timeout is based on Google.com disconnecting a device after a certain amount of time and to avoid that disconnect the screensaver ends at 12 hours. Remember this is a screensaver not a photo frame application. Why leave a TV on 24 hours a day? 🤷‍♀️

The Roku is on 24 hours a day so when you turn on the TV rather than a nice screen saver you get an error timeout. The app I use instead runs just fine non stop.
