Local events that have no remote dependencies (e.g., a single local parent and
a single local child) can be grouped into a one large event (e.g., a circle
with twice the radius) and with a label that indicates the number of events
that were grouped.
The user should then be able to click on the group and expand it. Or, click on
an event in such a group that has been expanded and induce the grouping.
This will make it easier to visualize large logs that cause the visualization
to be long and unusable (because of the long-ranging lines that span the entire
diagram).
