Just downloaded the 1.7.1 High Sierra Edition, but the app crashes on launch.

Sorry, and thanks for letting me know. I've pulled 1.7.1 (from the updater mechanism); you'll have to manually install https://github.com/chucker/Mastonaut/releases/tag/app-1.7.0-hse again.
