Unable to extract .tar.gz files (v3.9)

Since updating to v3.9 this morning, I've been unable to extract .tar.gz files 
from Drupal.org. I've downloaded several module archives to test the bug - the 
.zip versions extract correctly, but .tar.gz versions appear to extract 
successfully (i.e. no error messages from The Unarchiver), but the extracted 
files do not appear in the specified destination folder.

One of the archives I tested is the 'Calendar' module, which is available to 
download here: http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/calendar-7.x-3.4.tar.gz

So it seems. I forgot one line of code in a recent change... How embarrassing.

Fixed now, updated versions should be out soon.
