folders with names upercase / lowercase get a -1 if same carakter is used #756

for example a tar  archive  with  /c  & /C in same folder, will extract as  /c 
and /C-1  which is wrong and gives problems.

There is not much to do about this. The default Mac OS X file system is 
case-insensitive, so it is incapable of creating these as separate directories. 
Doesn't really matter what you'd do here, it will still end up wrong.
