Hi Mike,

I know you make provision for many input methods however, is there any way of sending a keypress directly to fruitbox. I have tried just about everything and cannot find a solution since tools such as xdotool will not work in runlevel 3. e.g. If I want to send a keypress such as "z" to pause a song via an infrared remote or Web UI and do not have a keyboard connected?

If you setup the keys initially using a keyboard, if your IR remote sends the same code as the keyboard then it should work
