Hi! Sorry for the late reply. Many thanks for your contribution!

Could you merge it to a separate branch instead? I would do so, but I can't change it from my end. I am hesitant to merge it to main as it pertains to another 3rd party component. I think it makes more sense to have a separate branch for those who wish to use the camera plugin.

Sure. You may create a seperate branch and edit this PR as discussed. Once done I can refer to it in my blog.
