Contig calling shows QUEUED_TO_ASSEMBLE even though really ASSEMBLING, sometimes.

I believe this only started happening since 2bec9231f1f1fecd60369688a9a976abcc1263f9.

It only happens sometimes. It's as if the status to set to QUEUE happens after generate_contigs begins.
