What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install for Mac OSX
2.install library in Processing
3.Attempt to run sketch

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to connect to Kinect and run examples from the library. Currently 
doing a tutorial for the book Making Things See.
full error message says
UnsupportedClassVersionError : a library is using code compiled with an 
unsupported version of Java.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.22 OSX on OSX.
Please provide any additional information below.

I'm still new at this, so if there's some way to address it that I am simply 
unaware of your patience is appreciated.

You have installed a wrong/old Java Runtime Environment Version! Please use a 
newer version, e.g. 1.6. see also
