Cannot open multiple folders together in the 'Open' menu #388

Xee3: Version 3.1.1 (27)
Operating system: OS X 10.7.5 Intel

I've just discovered this Xee3 program. I am looking for a replacement for 
JPEGView (Mac OS9), and JPEGDeux (OS X [cocoa] up to OS X 10.4.

I expected to be able to open multiple folders in the same folder at once to 
show a long slideshow. Instead, I found that I can only select *one* folder at 
a a time.

I'm certain other users will find this essential too.

I'm pleased that I can now pay with PayPal - but there's no point buying Xee 
until this problem is fixed.

PS: Please consider including the option of making the slideshow background 
black (as traditionally expected).

Xee is designed to browse images in given folders, so this is not likely to 
change.

You can open the containing folder, and select the option to include images 
from subfolders, which may help in some cases.
