Xee not responding when it is default app #447

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Buy app from AppStore
2. Navigate to a folder with images in finder
3. Select an image, open with... , Select Xee and check "Always open with"
4. Open an image of that type

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Xee not responding anymore

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.3

Do you have any other software installed that modified behaviour in other apps?

Also, what do you mean by "not responding any more"? What exactly happens?

And is this still happening?
