this is actually different to what we're discussing here https://github.com/cianru/huawei-publish-gradle-plugin/pull/28#issuecomment-895572114
@BugsBunnyBR your issue is caused by the fact that 1.3.0-SNAPSHOT
build is not available in any of the defined repositories.
A workaround (until there is a published version available publicly) is to comment out all the sample modules here https://github.com/cianru/huawei-publish-gradle-plugin/blob/63c7e743ed5c34f8e8ded100f7df74985896fa26/settings.gradle.kts#L3-L7
and then execute :plugin:publishToMavenLocal
gradle task, which will publish the SNAPSHOT build to your local repo
Very strange because 1.3.0-SNAPSHOT
had been already published a few days ago.
Hmmm  then I guess it's a problem with those overridden buildscript
blocks in the groovy sample maybe?
Requiring the developer to have a snapshot version in their local maven is suboptimal, why are we not using composable builds for those samples? It would replace the artefact with the local project...
maybe it helps https://ncorti.com/blog/gradle-plugins-and-composite-builds
There is this piece of code, but does not seem to be working the same between kotlin and groovy sample modules for some reason :man_shrugging: https://github.com/cianru/huawei-publish-gradle-plugin/blob/75b006130349a24afb63c8decc1d7a847d4ac8ba/settings.gradle.kts#L14-L20
Fix that. I forgot to add snapshot repository to settings.gradle
.
I just checkout the branch and tried to sync the project on my machine... This is what I got
