Hello, thanks for the suggestion. I didn't think of that because I have my brightness low, very low. I'll look into it.
Done! Updated version v1.0 with Night Mode... https://open-store.io/app/zork-i-en.cibersheep
Thanks, much better now!
Although still, maybe it would be forth having not completely white font, but somewhat grayish? Like "dark theme" text editors does.
Also, that "spikey" font (is it times new roman?) could be changed into more pleasant one. Cannot suggest anything particular, but even this font I see in GitHub is actually more pleasant to read.
Maybe solarized theme could work, it suggest not completely dark bg and not completely white foreground: http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized
I have used dark grey (not black) from Suru palette and whiteish (not white) from the same palette. Next step would be to let the user choose font and colors. That might come in future release. Any help is welcome
The idea would be:
I doubt custom fonts is really needed, maybe good-enough default would suffice.
To be able to choose what suits better to everyone is the important thing here

Sure, if that does not over complicate implementation.
By the way, has your savedgame survived to the upgrade?
Yes it did.
Nice! By the way: I have moved this repository to gitlab. We can keep conversation there: https://gitlab.com/cibersheep/Zork-I-for-Ubuntu-Touch or in Telegram: @UTInteractiveFiction
Hi,
I've tried your game and it kinda makes eyes tired looking in black text on white shining screen.
It would be nice to have ability to switch to night theme (as Timer app has for example).
