people added though org chart using assign role aren't visible anywhere else

if you create a person through assign role, you can give them information, but as far as I can tell that's not ever accessible / editable again.

(not showing up under edit> personnel unless save for future use is checked)

Good point! I built that screen back before the whole checkin process. i've removed the ability to add new people on the fly there.
