Not able to open file in Planmaker by softmaker.de #2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. using the package as it comes.
2. open the created file in SoftMaker's Planmaker

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Planmaker is able to work with MS Excel 2003 format.
But it reports that this format is not supported.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu Linux 9.10 with Planmaker 2008 rev 503

Please provide any additional information below.
load the file in OpenOffice works.
