Hi @xmulligan, I am interested in learning about this project and want to work on this project under LFX Mentorship. I have previously written blogs that were featured on daily.dev and have also built UI components for the Notary website. Please let me know about any materials or resources that I should learn to get a better understanding of the project and its requirements.
Additionally, I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to get started, such as research and learn about the Cilium project from the existing documentation.
Thanks for reaching out @hamees-sayed . The applications for the program will open on February 1st https://github.com/cncf/mentoring/tree/main/lfx-mentorship/2023/01-Mar-May#term-01---2023-march---may
@xmulligan As the docs are hosted on the cilium's main repo. Then what is this repository used for ?
Hi @xmulligan, I believe we've interacted before on Twitter. I'm currently learning Javascript and I usually write blogs as part of my learning and hence I believe that this'd be a really great spring project for me if selected. I shall make my application in earnest.
@abs007 good to see you again. Please apply when it opens
Hello @xmulligan , Can we start working on this issue right from now or during the LFX Mentorship period ? Btw I have been exploring the CNCF projects from the last 6 months and written few technical blogs on hashnode.
@lavakush07 this will be worked on during the mentorship period
Hey @xmulligan , the idea is very interesting! According to what i understood from the description here, the aim of the project is to elaborate on the main areas - Networking, Observability and Security and talk about how Cilium is actually spread across these focus areas and solves the challenges in each domain. Am i thinking right here?
Also, I had a question: I am actually getting a bit confused between the use-cases already present under each category (on the main page) and the sub-topics which are listed above! Are the sub-topics kind of an extension of the use-cases on the live website page and that is how the new page is gonna be structured or is there a difference here?!
I haven't actually worked with Cilium before, so hope that the question made sense.
Would love to be a part of the project and would definitely be filling an application for this!
Yes the goal is to elaborate the main areas.
The ones listed above are a bit of an update of the current ones on the main page so there will be the new use cases pages and an update of the main page to make sure they are in line.

Ah, got it! Thanks for explaining I've been creating short content on twitter and slowly transitioning to writing blogs as part of my learning journey as well. So, this could definitely prove to be a great addition to the content writing side of my learnings. Looking forward to applying :)
@xmulligan , so basically we want to implement separate routes for networking , security and working each and thus elaborate the given lists under each section right..
@Oms-343 yes that is correct
Hi @xmulligan I am interested in working on this issue and was looking forward to contributing to the same ? Also I had a small doubt as to how many mentees are selected under a project or are they limited to just one ?
Thanks :)
@divz-codess Yes there is only one mentee selected
This project is quite interesting and i have applied through LFX mentorship program. Looking forward to your response.

Hi @robin025 yes that is correct. Looking forward to your application

On the homepage, we currently have this section.
It would be great for each of the uses cases to have its own page.
Networking
Observability
Security
Each page can be filled out with a description of the use case, links to relevant talks, blogs, or other content, and any community quotes available.
