UIUC is University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (no "at") #1

Please correct the official name for UIUC; there is no longer an "at" in our name.

UIUC is "University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign"

For example,

Hello @angrave ,

Thank you for the comment. CILogon.org pulls organization names from InCommon Metadata, specifically the "DisplayName" extension value. (See https://mdq.incommon.org/entities/urn%3Amace%3Aincommon%3Auiuc.edu for the current UIUC entry.) We do not have control over this entry, but we will contact the listed administrative contact "shibboleth-mgr@illinois.edu" to see if they can update the DisplayName value.

Hey, Terry, Yes, I'm aware that we need to make this change. When UIC made the change a while back, it broke NIH logins. NIH was doing something very strange where they were linking users to their IdP using the organization display name. I've been meaning to deal with this in a sane fashion for quite some time. Your note nudged me. I've just reached out to NIH so we can make this change without disruption to Urbana researchers. Once I know how to safely proceed, I'll make the update in the federation manager. Keith
