5 years ago I'm having the same issue on Ubuntu 18.04 kernel 4.18.0-25-generic. I'm attempting to upgrade my distribution, but I would imagine it's gonna give me the same results

5 years ago I tested a little bit more, and it seems like it only fails on USB 3. If I plug into another port it works fine.
@Niproblema I can`t currently test it, I am away from home.
