Constant high CPU usage #154

Describe the bug

I run Cinny 2.2.4 in NixOS, installed from Nixpkgs.

I’m seeing a constant CPU usage (top shows 30-35 %), permanently, even when I’m not doing anything, the window is not focused, and there is no activity in any of my rooms. That makes it impractical to use the app while on battery.

Reproduction

  1. Launch Cinny
  2. Observe high CPU usage

Expected behavior

No response

Platform and versions

1. Linux (NixOS unstable, running sway)
2. Cinny 2.2.4
3. Matrix homeserver: matrix.org
4. Downloaded from nixpkgs

CPU usage seems proportional to window size.

I can confirm that this is still happening on 2.2.6

I also observe something like that.
