Winget breaks after update #229

The current version on winget is 2.X.X

If I open the cinny app it prompts me to update using a built in updater (that should be optional). If I install cinny vith WinGet an than update it via the build in updater, winget doesn't recognizes Cinny as a Winget package any more, so future updates via WinGet are not possible any more.

Is there a way to update WinGet more frequently and could you change the updater so it doesn't break compatibility with winget anymore?

Winget should disable the updater just like flatpak is doing.

I still would prefer an option to disable it myself
