emoji verification doesnt actually verify #514

Describe the bug

i have latest dev.cinny.in running on 2 devices, one is verified and the other is not

i try to verify by emoji, hit they match and it says in the console that verifying succeeded, but the second device is still marked as unverified

Reproduction

  1. go into security tab on verified device
  2. hit verify for the unverified session
  3. accept on both
  4. they match on both
  5. session is not moved to verified

Expected behavior

working

also no errors in console
