Identify the appropriate GCMD vocabulary to use on NERC #5

The NVS server has a few GCMD vocabularies, which one should we use: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/?filter=GCMD

Which one is of interest?

I think the P64 is the newest one on NVS? But newest is a relative term since it looks like GCMD v6 came out in 2013. There could be a case for sticking with this old version though since ERDDAP seems to use it as well so we have a couple externally-verifiable ways to work with it already.
