CKAN is an open-source DMS (data management system) for powering data hubs and data portals. CKAN makes it easy to publish, share and use data. It powers datahub.io, catalog.data.gov and europeandataportal.eu/data/en/dataset among many other sites.
Currently, authors appear as
Pierre, K. A. St. → St. Pierre, K.A.
Stap, T. van der → van der Stap, T.
Arriola, S. G. → Gonzalez Arriola, S.
It seems to be properly reflected in the tool, except for Santiago’s.
Nate will change the metadata cool to capture names as 'Last name, Given names'. Ckan will need to change to split on ',' if available. fall back to splitting on spaces as it currently does if no command exists.
