Add Linux support for Circuit Desktop-App #1

Is this the project from which the Circuit Desktop-App was built?

I would like to use the Circuit Desktop-App on GNU/Linux. It would be nice if you add support for GNU/Linux as well. At least please publish the steps how to create the Circuit Desktop-App out of those sources that we could package by our own.

@jobrud, no this is just a small electron chat example to demonstrate the use of the Circuit SDK with an electron app. The official Circuit Desktop App is currently only available for Windows and Mac. And since the source code for the official Circuit Desktop App is not open source, you cannot build a Linux version yourself.

You can use Chrome with the Circuit web application on your Linux system.

That is really regrettable. There are any plans to make the Circuit Desktop App open source or to publish the Circuit Desktop App for GNU/Linux as well ? Thanks for the hint with the Chrome app, I already use it with this opportunity. But to be honest, it is not that comfortable like a real desktop app.

No, there are no plans to open source the Circuit Desktop App. There is also no plan to publish a Linux distribution of the Circuit Desktop App, at this time at least.
