Vimium : use F6 to escape search bar #73

you can't use ESC to leave the address bar focus

F6 key seems to be what you're looking for, I think you already know it but it's cool to add to the page Cheers!

Thanks for the tip Nicolas! I think this is what is mentioned at: https://superuser.com/questions/726447/keyboard-shortcut-to-deselect-omnibox-in-chrome/726451#726451 but I hadn't paid much attention/haven't been using Vimium much lately. Got get back to it some more.

Exactly, and it works on Linux too and Firefox 😃 Have you been using an alternative or simply used your default browser features?

Browser features and mouse. It's sad. When I was younger I spent endless hours optimizing all kinds of shortcuts. Now I'm getting old and lazy and refusing to improve my workflows.
