Last, can you just test the images / verify that this actually fixes your issue (c-i will publish images in the actions) and then I'd like to land.

I have trouble verifying that the patch works with the image from the pipeline as it is missing drivers for my environment (Vsphere). I can confirm it works with those modules included.
