I thought this assignment was quite challenging, but I do feel as if this is more along the lines of what visualizations will be like if I make a career out of this. I wish I got a chance to try to gganimate and really dig into the aesthetics of interactive graphic. I know that we are still learning, but I hope to dig into the complexities some day.

• In the future, make sure to deploy the shiny application on shinyapps.io or a similar platform before submitting the assignment
• A bit rough around the edges, but a good working prototype. I recommend building this as a complete standalone Shiny app and include the narrative explanation within the app. You could expand it to use a Shiny flexdashboard to better integrate the app with written analysis
• Clean up the graphs. By that I mean, think about how to properly label the y-axis tick marks and the axis labels themselves. What is indavg? Spell it out in full words. Likewise for the arms import graph, format the tick marks so they are not employing scientific notation
• I broke your app by changing the compare input to yes without including any comparison countries. You could employ additional code to prevent this from occurring (some sort of conditional expression that only populates the yes input option if there are values in country is the first way i can think of)
• Nice use of conditional expressions to change the plot type based on the comparison input
