bring netbox up-to-date with the current released version #496

Currently netbox has some problems if I try to update it to the latest version. Need to work through the issues and make sure that everything works as it should, including the plugins and custom netbox plugins.

priority on this has been increased since the old repository mirrors used by the original docker image no longer work
