💡 Summary

Add a platform notification area and create a process to maintain the content.

Motivation and context

Enhance the Crossfeed login page (https://crossfeed.cyber.dhs.gov/) adding a platform notification area and create a process to maintain the content of the same.

Next Gen Crossfeed UI will include a new platform notification area on the initial login page that will alert our data consumers to upcoming service interruptions such as routine maintenance, etc. In addition to creating the new platform notification area, we will create a process for updating and maintaining the content that appears in this area.

Implementation notes

Please provide details for implementation, such as:

• Define notification dates
• Define notification messaging
• Update codebase with new notification frame
• Do not need to touch codebase on notification updates.
• Update with first notification message

Acceptance criteria

• [ ] Update home page with notification frame and first message
• [ ] Test and Deploy on the first notification date
